Let’s move on and upwards… now how are we going to do that? Well, let’s do what we always do on this journey, let’s lean in to our happiness, rather than trying to fight it. Seems hard but it’s actually quite easy. For me at least, your results may vary, hahaha you like that disclaimer before we even start, that’s how you know I’m a professional. I know how to temper expectations.
But no more wasting time, let’s get into the core of what we are going to cover together. I’m going to be your mother bird, I’ll chew the food for you then spill it out into your baby chick mouth. So start chirping away.
But here’s what I want you to write down. “Don’t seek truth, just cease to cherish opinions”
This principle might make no sense to you right now, but let me explain the genius behind it. The Truth is what you really are and where you are in the universe, yeah that’s right, we getting cosmic and shit. Opinions, are just that, any time you say “I think XYZ” about anything or anyone. That is your opinion. Problem is, people become so identified with their opinions that they lose the Truth, and that’s bad.
So the point of all this is. You actually find yourself, your Truth. When you stop putting so much attachment on your opinions, you realise that no one person can be the repository of all knowledge. This helps in removing the need to react or cast your personal judgement on everything in the world. Like it’s exhausting having to categorise all things into varying degrees of good or bad. Just let that noise go.
Look, the next time you have that feeling in your chest like you have to react to something, or want to spit out your own thoughts on a matter. Stop and ask, “Is it really worth losing my Truth“.
More to come…
