Yo Yo Yo what’s up? So, it’s been another week and here we are again. Take a moment to just take a long breath, let the oxygen soak into your body for a bit; you’ve had a long week, you deserve ten seconds before I poke at you some more.
What smell hit you first when you took that breath? Mine was the smell of the candle in my room, it’s infused with pineapple and mint fragrances. Which you might think wouldn’t work but it does strangely enough. Comment what your smell sensation was.
Okay now that we are charged and a little excited, let us move on to today’s tip for overcoming your own mind to get more done.
Now, I know I’ve talked about this in some capacity before. But what we are going to do is further refine that thought and build upon it. So, this teaching relates to everything you do, from simple tasks like cleaning the house or folding your clothes away; to more complex tasks: like arranging a birthday party, writing a creative piece or building a relationship with someone. What we cover here will have an effect on every aspect of your life if you are willing to partake.
I’ll keep the lesson simple, there are only three states that you want to be in in life, all others lead to some sort of suffering either for yourself or for others. And these three states are: Acceptance, Enjoyment and Enthusiasm.
Now you can have a mix of these three states running at the same time while doing things, that’s fine. What you need to look out for is when you are doing an activity not in those states, and if you think about the activity you are doing, you will realise that somewhere, somehow you are manifesting a form of negativity in your life.
Being aware is the first step to resolving your issues there, so your homework is to stop and notice when you aren’t in those states; and then later write down how you allowing negativity to come into your life at that moment.
