The March 2022 creative writing release is now available online and is titled Prisoner’s Peace. After finishing this work, I was really pleased with it how turned out. The story itself isn’t something I want to get into because I’m curious to see if my intended meaning is clear enough to readers. All I will say, is that it is a bit of a psychological short story set in the Medieval Dark Ages, centred around a prisoner’s daunting experience being sent to prison.
What I found from writing this piece, is that I got re-experience the process of starting a project and not knowing exactly where it will end. Nevertheless, powering on with the writing and allowing the story to manifest itself to me naturally without me having to force it.
